99 taurus headlight alignment

just got the car put new headlights in it since the old ones were dim but now have an annoying situation if i align the headlights to be level with each other on low beam the driver side shoots high and the passenger side shoots low on high beam and if i align them on high beam the reverse happens any way to correct it or do i just have to live with it? (can't use the levels since the passenger side leaked and i prefer the driverside a bit farther out than the level puts it)
