Headlight Adjuster Replacement
Hello everyone I am new to the board. The other day I had both of my headlights go out on my 01 GA GT. This didn't surprise me all that much because it has DRL. After replacing both lamps I started to adjust my headlamps. The adjuster cracked with very little pressure and now I need a replacement. I have called the dealership, and they only have the entire headlamp assembly with adjuster for 207 bux. I called the salvage yards around, and while none of them could get me a used assembly, they had an aftermarket one for 145. Would any of you know a cheaper place to get this part. I really only need the two adjusters but I think I will have to buy the entire assembly. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks, |

Re: Headlight Adjuster Replacement
Welcome to Af Fragmenter. That would be a dealer part at this time. They are screwing you because you can get just the adjuster. I replaced mine a year or so ago and it was only available from the stealership. They orderd them and they were around $12-15 each, took it a while to come in though. Ya the DRLs kill high beams dont they.... a little tip, dont slam your hood with them on. Its kept mine going longer between bulb changes. Good Luck.
