octane booster for Maxima

I just purchased a '95 Maxima and I was looking at this octane booster additive called GTA fuel enhancer and wondered if anyone has used this before. The website address is:

http://www.gtatech.com/

My main interest in this product is to be able to use a lower octane rated (87) gasoline without causing engine knock.

Re: octane booster for Maxima

they seem to use a lot of buzzwords.

honestly i dont trust fuel additives. shot injector, premature wear.....

the makers of one of the fuel additive they sell almost everywhere is being sued by the ftc since it is 100% mineral water, i know its a three piece kit and i think its called z-max.

i looked at the technical data in there, and they dont show any comparisons, so i wouldnt trust it. there are no cnclusive results, and they clearly used excel graphs, so forget that crap,

just buy premium, you will thank yourself later.

...true.

Could one really make living by buing all these mpg boosters/widgets, and then start sellin the overflowing gas?

Still, the gas sold at the pumps contain already diff concoctions of mixtures... and included are additives that work. So why buy cheaper gas, buy mix additives to save (?) by paying more. Even proper mixture administration is a pain...
Some fuelboosters do 'work', are used in special appications; I dont believe u can save in std vehicle.
