98 Expedition - Air Bag Light Blinking
I have a 98 Expedition (4.6 V-8, 4x4) and the air bag warning light is is flashing in a sequence of 5+2; it does this 3 times then stays on solid. I'm not sure what this means exactly or the remedy....help! for some history, it has 127,000 miles and I recently replaced the plugs and wires, ignition coils , EGR valve, and DPFE sensor.

Re: 98 Expedition - Air Bag Light Blinking
its a low battery voltage code. have someone clear it and see if it comes back. and witht he light on the airbag wont deploy while driving, the light turns the deployment circuit off so it wont work at all. the only thing that will deploy an airbag is a short to the wires gonig up the steering column but the airbag wires are run pretty independently of anything else.
