premium audio help

got a 96 escort with premium audio - cd player with factory "amplified".
Had some A$$hole steal my old deck and he cut the wires, any body know where i can get the wiring info from the amp? ie speaker colurs and i need to know what wire powers up the amp.

My Haynes manual only shows the standard radio set-up. It does show speaker wires though. I'll scan a copy if you think it will help.

ah, thanks but no need, i was just really fed up and gutted the whole thing, fresh rewire, onyl took like 1 hr. everything works now, except my dash lights, welljust the guage lights, thinking when they cut the wires, they blew the light bulbs.

The radio, premium amp, instrument lights and power mirrors are all on the samefuse. It's the one on the lower right. Should be 15 amp. That could be your problem.
