road shake

82 toy 22r long bed 2x4, While driving down the road most of the time it shakes like a dog crapping rubber nickles at certain speeds, 35, 65 and up, but 50 to 65 is nice and smooth. Steering linkage, ball joints are seem to be what they are supposed to be, not loose, I haven't had the wheels aligned or balanced but soon. What about wheel bearings would this cause it. THANKS!

Re: road shake

Get the alignment and balance. Then report back.

Did not have to get that balance and alignment. It would of been a waste of time. I lifted up the front end and rotated the wheels then grabbed the top and bottom and gave it a shake I also did this with the front and back of the wheel, both times it had play. THE BEARINGS ARE SHOT!
Plan on repacking them soon.

Re: road shake

I bet if you'd gone for the alignment, they would have told you they couldn't do it and showed you why.
