Question Stock 95 3000GT SL-Best bang for my buck?

I recently bought a 95 3000GT SL and since i barely ever see these cars around, I've recieved no advice on what is most worth doing to the car for my money. I would like to increase its performance so I was thinking about a cold air intake ect...what would you guys reccomend? Thanks a lot

Exhaust+tt conversion should do the trick

exhaust (eliminate cats, gut precats, etc) and intake first.
then get yourself a downpipe (which i guess is exhaust again)

and that's all i know for N/A

A free mod that you can do is take off a resistor doohickey thats on your intake. If you follow your intake from the filter, around the curve, and onto that straight part, you should see a box on the underside. Apparently, you don't even need that. Take it off, and you get a louder exhaust note and maybe some horsepower. I'll get more info when we do it to my car(should be this weekend!)

downpipe, test pipe, gut precats (if you have them), cat back (mainly for sound. Not alot of hp to be gained), underdrive/lightweight crank pulley.

Screw the CAI. The ones on ebay wont even work for your car since you have ABS. Just a nice short ram to help bling up the engine bay. Intakes dont do much for our cars anyway,

Re: Stock 95 3000GT SL-Best bang for my buck?

-Downpipe, Testpipe, Cat-back...
-Can remove intake resonator, doesn't do anything but give it a nice sound.
-Cold air intake might help you by .2 hp, can't really hurt to have one.
-Underdrive pulley as mentioned

Then work on traction/weight...fidanza flywheel/clutch, 3sx solid motor mounts, remove spare/rear seats/carbon fiber hood/lightweight racing seats.

Hook up a 50 shot of nitrous, should net you some low 14 second runs

OR

Sell it and buy a TT...which isn't really bang for your buck...more like bang for your wallet.
