Question Quick question

Hi everyone, just a quick question. Is OBD/OBD-II Scanner a the only way to reset the "Check Engine" light?

Mine is 2000 Golf 2.0

NO! The other way is to pull the battery cable off for about 30 minutes, which will clear the codes! Make sure you have your radio code first though!
