Motor Swap
Does or has anyone tried a motor swap in the 02 or newer tib. I have thought about taking out the old V6 and trying to put a 3800 out of a Grand Prix but I haven't seen anything on a swap.

I understand the whole weight to power thing and I think I will just stick to building the stock enginefrom the ground up and look into boaring it out a little and making a custom turbo system. |

Re: Motor Swap

only bore job ive seen is 2.9, and havent heard of any gains yet....

I haven't checked into what turbos thier systems are going to be running. I will have to do that but I also have all the supplies to bend piping and all I have to buy are the main parts. Plus I will wait to add the turbo till after I finish building the stock block so I know how many lbs. of boost I can run. |
