What's Cheaper??? Turbo or Engine Upgrade?

What would be cheaper for cost/speed?

An engine swap? With all work and everything like that and selling the other engine - I have a stock engine and it has about 100k miles on it. i dont know for sure how much cuz it was changed before i got it and the odometer wasnt touched. i think its called the odometer. well wutever anyways or would a turbo cost less?

I want to maybe spend about 1000.

Please take everything into account - like the money i get from the engine - the labor (or if i could do it myself and have a friend help me [i have lots of car friends]) the extra parts i might need for the engine that you suggest. well thnx for the help

i am looking for a nice rear bumper - i was hoping maybe one that looks kind of like this...



and where would a cheap one be - maybe one of u has a nice one? i live in oregon - or owudl u suggest looking around town or in the paper? give me ur guy's suggestions thnx and about how much it iwll cost and take into account that i can sell my stock bumper to somebody if i am gonna be buying another one. so anyways thnx for the HELP!!!!

Turbo. You could do a junkyard setup for around $500.

thats a wings west bumper, the mugen copy also looks like that, i would check ebay..
