03 CD Player Saying error CDE1
Does anyone know how to deactivate this CD Error so I can listen to my CD's?
We were rolling down the highway listening to it then it just went into this error mode, stop playing and switched to radio on it's own. Please help. Road Trip 13hrs. Thank you

I looked at my 99 Taurus repair book, I found this for code 1, not sure if it applies to you, give it a try..
o During CD Mode, The Integrated Control Panel Display Shows CDE1 Possible Source(s): § Digital audio compact disc player mechanism error. Action(s) to take: Note: A mechanical failure has occurred. TRY to eject magazine; this may clear the error condition. If the magazine will not eject, REPLACE digital audio compact disc player. Power disconnect/reconnect may clear CDE1 error.
