Did your ZC passed emissions?

Hi

I wanted to ask anyone here that owns a ZC if their cars passed their emissions or not?

I wanted to do a ZC swap to a 90 hatch but after seeing my buddy try 3 times to have his zc hatchback pass. and didn't succeed. I'm thinking that instead I should go with a D16z6 or a JDM D15 V-tec

Re: Did your ZC passed emissions?

mine passed with flying colours..except the gas cap pressure. Try putting some of that "guaranteed to pass emissions" stuff in your tank..heard that stuff helps. My buddy who also has a zc passes no prob either. Another thing you can do is take it for a burn on the highway before you go..get your car nice and warm i heard that really helps aswell. Good luck with the zc..i like it

Re: Did your ZC passed emissions?

like I mention before, I only know one person that has this engine. and it's fast with cam gears, headers, air intake and weapon r exhaust. That thing flys! This is why I wanted to do a ZC swap, but It's mainly for the training that my friend is going to give me.

I curently convinced my boss to buy a 89' civic hatch with a b18c in it, as a company car, so this hatch that I'm ganna be working on most likely will also be a company car
