Blown 14B i think lol

Well.... now i have an excuse to get a bigger turbo, but im broke... and it would need to be a one night installation of the turbo... which is doubtfull... what happens when 14B shits on you? besides the blue smoke.... i cant tell if it did that because... well most of the exhaust is expelled from the test pipe due to, well being disconnect and no sealant there lol if you people cant tell im in need of a turbo..... im in desperate need... it screams real loud when it goes past 7 PSI on the stock gauge... and climbs real slow... what are some bad things of driving a car with a blown turbo? granted i wont be flooring it... or driving like an idiot

Re: Blown 14B i think lol

My 14b just crapped out on me yesterday. I'm not sure about your situation with your turbo screaming loudly past 7 psi, but i knew my turbo was out when my boost gauge read "0"psi's and my car suddenly felt slow as hell!!! So I took of the intake pipe to check, I discovered that the turbine wheel could only spin about a quarter of a turn before it locked up. I'm still driving my car because it's my only ride and I have places to go. I would also like to know the bad things that might happen to my engine if i drive with a blown turbo?? Can I actually damage anything by driving with a blown turbo???
