01 Caravan question

Where can I find the carbon canister on this vehicle?? My pal's got a problem in his evap system, I'm not familiar with Dodges, thanks...

Look under the van on the drivers side. Should look like a flat black box. Usually located in front of the fuel tank. What code did you get on the scanner. Sometimes the solenoid under the hood is a problem not the canister itself.

We had 2 codes, both related to evap, 1 indicated a small leak, the other a "gross" leak,, what I was reading up on it, the evap system monitor checks itself for leaks every startup, we're hoping maybe it's just something unhooked or maybe a fitting broken,, his mil light has been on for months, due for inspection now, you know how that goes,, thanks for reply, we'll check it out this week

A small leak usually means a bad or loose gas cap. A code for a large leak usually means you have a loose or damaged hose or hole in the canister. Good Luck!
