Max vs altima? no brainer

Ok the max and alt are both great cars but... I work at a nissan dealership and own a 02 max... that means I made a choice.... The engins are pretty much the same.... throw the hp out the window when comparing torque is even.... so if ya mod the alt it should come out the same because the diffrence in pwer is marketing only... on paper the cars are dead even. then you have that 5 speed vs six speed thing.... wich for some is a deciding factor.... the six speed is no fun around town? 2 shifts before 60mph? you got to be devoted.... 5 speed more manigable..... the auto's in the max and alt are awsome..... while it may not be a true manumatic.... it might ass well be.... but the G35 has that claim to fame... The biggest diffrence? sit in a fully loaded Altima... then sit in a max w/ every thing cept the nav system... ok your at 1000 off in sticker..... the max.... inside? is a work of art.... the alt? still looks like a nice 4 cylinder w/ some horrible wood on the inside.... the diffrentce is in the fact the max is a nicer car.... it just is.... if this doese not show the diffrence try driving them to the extreme... the max shows up at a 120 mph were the altima well doese a good job... but aproch 130..... the max takes the altima... but the altima in the corners well.... the max may be a little soft stock but you can go either way on this point... just keep in mind w/ the max your getting a cheap I35... but with the altima your getting the small vertion of the 2004 max..... so why not wait for the 04 max w/ possible detuned Q45 v-8? Choices choices.....

hehe, i'm pretty sure you meant to post this as a reply to my thread...instead you hit 'new thread', when you wanted 'post reply'. and i am not waiting fotr the '04 max for two reasons 1. it sure as hell isn't going to be in the same price range as the current maxima after they throw in a V8. 2. if they keep it the same as the prototype, it is ass ugly.
