Rear wiper problem
The rear wiper on my 2000 Villager died in the 4 o'clock position and won't move. No response when I turn it on. Probably the motor??
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Rear wiper problem
The villager is notorious for the rear wiper motor going bad. I have replaced two in 6 1/2 years. Get a quote from the Nissan dealer, it is usually cheaper than the Mercury dealer. Very simple to replace. Just take off the skin on the hatch and it is right there.

Re: Rear wiper problem
4 years ago my rear wiper failed also. I took it apart an tried to clean the contacts that tell the motor what position the wiper is in. It worked for a few days and then failed again. If I remember right the dealer wanted $170 for a new one. I have lived without it.
