Merry Christmas for Me
I recently got my datsun (yesterday)
Aside from it not starting (probally bad starter) it looks good Total Amount Paid: $570 including towing heres some pics (sorry for half assed quality

Yeah quick question I cant seem to get it into 5 gear now is there a limiter so i cant do this when im not driving or something and im not 100 percent sure what gears are what so far i think

5th should be in the upper right hand corner, and reverse should be right below 5th gear... if it doesn't wanna go in 5th, your synchro could be gone...
speaking of z's, the guy who bought mine let me come over to his house yesterday and take the tokico's out of the back, when what do I find in his garage; a perfectly restored 240z with an l28 turbo motor, and a 69' datsun roadster awaiting resoration

wait till you are driving it...
sometimes when a car is parked, the trans doesnt always want to go into the gears everytime.

Yeah Just need to get that oil pump and a new battery and maybe a new starter and i should be good to go. Anybody willing to give 180 bucks to a budding z enthusiast

Heh Just got 100 bucks guess what its going too...
Well ill be ordering my oil pump tommorow along with a new atenna. the current one is trashed. although i have no radio so it seems a tad useless.

Think i found a problem left side blinkers are either dead or the fuse is gone. when i put the stick to the left position nothing does anything like the dash doesnt show the signal and the blinkers arent going off. When i turn the hazards on only the right side works. The right side blinkers work aswell. I know the lights are good becuase they where recently replaced. Also where is the fusebox or is it the area with all the old cartridge fuses.
