afm ecu wiring diagram
i think i found my problem ...
i think somewhere between my afm (air flow meter) and my ecu is a short reason being i dfound one wire going to the ecu that is the same flimsy white wire in the core of the afm sensor wire..... i tested it and have minute amounts of voltage while from the afm i have the 2.5 to 2.8 at idle and jumps after depressing throttle but at the ecu very low approx .2 to .34 volts received excpect this to be the problem ok what wirte should i use the wire that is used is sheiolded and flimsy l;ooking what should i replace with any help would be apprciated |

Re: afm ecu wiring diagram
ok found the wire in the ecu its pin number 31
good continuity no na ecu is not compatible and wont run..... lets see good fuel pressure. assumeing good spark(with ether revs up no hesitation) fuel cuts out almost instantly when the throttle is depressed slightly passed the 1\4 throttle point fuel pressure doesnt drop a wink ( i know theres no fuel due to wide band o2 meter shows fuel go from rich section to not on gauge almost instantly and cars dies ) car wont allow almost any throttle until you click the idle switch to make car think throttle was completely closed tried to adjust the timing to no avail if anyone has any advice please please please help this is probably the first time ive ever not been able to diagnos and fix a problem on any of my cars usally i know what it is wqhen it happens also ive tried to rmove the clip from the knock to eliminate that as a POSSIBILITY fuel pressure does raise when throttle is touched (or disconect vacum) there seems to be no vaccum leaks ecu diagnosis as being afm ...... tests ok to ecu???? (through the return wire of the afm........) ecu problem??>????? or am i the one with a monster in mty z (only instead of a gurgler its a gremlin) |

Re: afm ecu wiring diagram
cleaned o2 sensor (thought that since the meter didnt move a wink other than when it drops to not on gauge... cleaned it no difference
also i tried to disconnect the afm to no avail either(as in major difference between hooled up and not almost stalls almost instantly _) also reading at afm and at ecu are identicle(as in not shorted out also car will start without ether now...... cleaned alot of sensors ........ i guess that ill have to remove the ecu and attempt to see if i can see anything that looks physicaly burn are anything if not im lost............ i guess il have top pull out oll rusty and drop my turbo in my na body ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |
