92 Dakota dies and wont start for 5-25 minutes. PLEASE HELP!!

I purchased a 1992 Dodge Dakota with a 318. It seems to run perfect with two exceptions. The first problem is when I am on the highway. When I keep it at a consistent speed it will buck a little. It stops immediately after I start to accelerate or decelerate. The second is a strange one. While driving down the road or at a stop light the truck will just die. All the lights work, the motor turns over but it wont start for about 5-25 minutes later. It seems to do this about once a day. Because my CHECK ENGINE light never comes on it wont give any codes. So far I have replaced the fuel pump (due to a misdiagnoses by Lithia), the oxygen sensor, coil, distributor cap and the rotor. None of this helped. Please Help!!!

I had the exact same problem. Down to the letter!

After replacing multiple sensors and just about striping the ignition wiring harness, I finally gave up and bought a new computer. It worked, problem solved. I have also recieved replies from several other ppl who have come to the same conclusion. BAD ECU.
