Introductions, Hello Fellow Members

Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce myself as Hot Dr Pepper, and this is my first day to this forum. I could've used Sunshine or Day Dream Believer, but it was the many mechanic inputs that swayed me to using Hot Dr. Pepper at the time. I searched out this forum because I am uncomfortable with automotive vehicle repairs and of course their costs. I've made many such repairs myself having worked in the industry. Yes it's true, I've got asthma and all the baggage that goes along with it. Common car buyers like ourselves need to stick together, and not just blow off repairs as a fact of life. I can understand not wanting to get to know your local minus man, but on the other hand the net offers a broad and rich experience to anyone wanting more out of their car then just another house payment. Comparison studies of like cars can help ease this shared burden of such uncomfortable vehicle repairs and costs. Accounting for like failures and incidents also helps in making car repairs a fact of machine life, and not just another factory oversight. Well I don't know that I will ever come back here after today, I mean the writing on the wall looks like it was done by mechanics. Hopefully for those people looking to become at ease with vehicle repairs the right place will help steer you to becoming carefree of such matters. Rich people can afford all those big ole expensive brand names, and act like it's all about fame, so why can't you?

I've recently thought of corporate reporting for office workers after hours, and even whole industry parks having insider web sites accounting for all things automotive. Especially in this time of crappy healthcare insurance companies where every dollar either counts or cuts.
