help on Subwoofer (2ohm DVC)
Hi, I just installed a new amp (mono, Class D pioneer premier) I'ts hooked up to a few year old rockford fosgate punch HE 12" 4ohm SVC sub. I'm thinking of buying a new 12" sub thats either a 2ohm SVC or a DVC 4 ohm (4 ohms each coil) so I cna wire it for 2 ohm and get the full power out of my amp (about 360 watts). I'm looking for more of a SQ sub, but I do like some thumping, I listen to a lot of different music, so I would think SQ would be the way to go (or if I could SQL) just lookign for somethign decent, not looking to spend a whole lot (I'd say 150 or so , mabye 200 but I'd rather spend the least amount possible) just looking for some hints, I'll be using this in a sealed box that measures 19" wide, 14" tall and is 10" deep on the top and 19" deep on the bottom (it's angled) thanks a lot!
