Gatta go with twin turbos. You will need all reinforced internals with reduced CR pistions, a fully upgraded fuel system, large intercooler, ECU upgrade, water/alcohol injection, cooling system, and the balls to actualy hit the gas
 All told you are looking at a 20-30k project even before you start rebuilding your driveline. Good luck let me know how it goes.

What do you want 1000hp for drag racing? Or are you trying to find the fastest way to die LOL. If all you want it for is dragracing you could do it with a supercharger and alot of NOS, but you are still looking at 12-15k I would think.
If you want to go the turbo route (which is what I would do) don't get an 06 get a 99 cobra HP already makes a 1000+hp turbokit for it that will save you alot on fabracating custom parts. thats my
