Re: Overdrive

No, you can trick it though, there should be 4 selections for forward gears, D(with an O around it), D, 2, 1. If you want overdrive, put it in d(with an O around it), and if you want to top out in 3rd gear, use D. Thats only useful if your towing, or are heavily loaded down, and I wouldnt recommend it. There is no actual Overdrive on/off button though

Re: Overdrive

3 is regular drive and D with a 0 around it, is regular drive and overdrive combined (3rd & 4th gears). The 4th gear is overdrive. You also have the converter "lock-up" in 4th gear when around 50 MPH with light throttle, depending on load. The overdrive (4th gear) is automatic and its engagement is based on engine RPM and how fast your moving (MPH).

Re: Overdrive

I was being very basic HotZ, I don't know your first name btw, I probably should by now, but I don't recall it!

The only tips I have for you gray, is to put it on Dcircle and gun it. Run Premium too. You ought to be supercharged, and you can buy smaller SC pullys, go to zzperformace.com or regalgs.org and poke around there for a while

Edit: Almost Forgot, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!!!!!!!

Re: Overdrive

Tman, most people just call me "Bo". I realize you were giving the basics, but it seemed to leave a cloud in the mind of the graygoose. I was trying to clear that cloudiness. It seems he was confused with, "it dont have a Rugular D", in lieu of the "3", as you described it. Your description was "crystal clear" to me. I guess we assume that everyone knows our jargon, when we post here.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS!
