'97 Cavalier thermostat replacement

How big of a job is it to change the thermostat on a '97 Cavalier. I did finally find it at the water pump, I was just wondering how involved this job would be. Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: '97 Cavalier thermostat replacement

I know it's a little old of a thread, but the thermostat is at the Y where the bypass pipe, lower radiator hose, and inlet of the water pump come together. At least on my '97 it's that way. There is also a housing where the upper radiator hose attaches where I think it originally went, but on my engine there is a little label that says it's been moved to the water pump location.
