98+ ws6 conversion (front end)
So i drive a 95 trans am. non ws6. i recently had a slight confrontation with a fire hydrant. my front bumper is pretty much wrecked. it punched a hole in the bumper and now i have to replace it. along with a fog light and a runner light. i was thinking i might just go ahead, get a new front bumper, new hood, and the airbox assembly... all the 98+ style with ram air and all that good stuff considering i like the newer look a lot better. i was wondering if anyone has done this in the past and how much it would cost. i would also like to repaint my entire car after doing this because half of my car is going to be primer grey.
. i was also wondering if the newer body style items would even fit on my lt1 because it appears to be a little shorter than the ls1. maybe ist just an allusion. as you can tell, i dont know much about this type of work but if anyone could please help me out, ide appreceiate it.im also wondering if i would need to replace the front fenders because if i dont have to, ide rather not. Thanks for the help, Julian |

Re: 98+ ws6 conversion (front end)
You have to replace the fenders, the hood, the bumper, and the flipup headlight assemblies. Might be kinda costly, but it is doable.

agree. Its gonna put a decent size hole in your wallet but if you really want it, it can be done. Just takes time and money.
