Hi there, I am being offered a navigation system part number 15806582 for 2006 GM models but I dont know if this is for a suburban or if it is for the high end escalades and such.
Does anyone have any information? The sticker on the nav unit says GM PN 15806582 106GTM800TNR Any input is greatly appreciated. |

Re: GM Touchscreen navigation
Honestly, if it is for an Escalade, then it should be 100% compatible with a suburban.

Re: GM Touchscreen navigation
It should be compatable. The only problem is you will probably have to go to the dealer to get the theft codes cleared before it will work in another vehicle.

Re: GM Touchscreen navigation
What you need to find out is if the unit is Luxury or Nonluxury. If you have Y91 in your RPO codes you need a Lux model. Something to do with the Amp. Do a search on ebay for GM Navigation and you will see the different models adaptable to non Lux models.
Good Luck
