93 lumina 3.1 liter problems

Well i have a 93 lumina it was running just fine and the other day it wouldnt crank i let it sit and it cooled off and would crank about 10 minutes later it died and wouldnt crank. So it cooled off again and it would crank right back up. All fluids are full and i have checked the ignition cil and modulator both working perfectly well and it doesnt runn long enough to overheat so im not sure whats wrong with it any advice would be great.

Do you have spark and injector pulse when it won't start?

hey man l'm just havin this problem right now with mine, l got code 15 the temp sencer (running cold)
and all l sudden my batts dead, have it chargin right now
give u an update in hour or so see what l find out

Cool thanks guys i dont know about the spark i have to wait till tuesday and ill have a code on it because there not open till then to have it scanned.and if anyone has any updated ideas as to whats happening befor ethen i appriciate it. By the way it started happening when it went from real cold teh day before to hot the next not sure if that helps any but thought id throw in all the details i could.

hey man u can check the computer codes ur self. with just a small piece of wire, has to be a chick copper house elextricle wire, then u see ur dignostics box under ur dash, cull the cover off, have the key turned to the start position, and look at the diognostics box, top row right corrner u'll 2 pins side by side top row in right corrner, then jam the wiere into thoes spots,u'r cooling fans will activate(well at lest mine do) and ur engine light will flish, 1,then 11 and that 11 means as is 1 flash pause flsh flash, it will do this 3times,pause and if theres a code will flash as like flash flash(2), flash flash flash flash flash(5) so the code would be 25, and it will do that 3times and if theres another code it will tell them alsoif theres no codes it will just pause and do the same flash ,flash flash,

i was havin the same problem and my thermostat was bad when i replaced it my problem stoped

It sounds like a crank sensor or ECM (computer) to me, but I'll need more info to make any more suggestions.

allrighty, solved my problem the temp sencer on the lower intake my clip fell out try looking at yours
see the shiny fuel line look directly down and see a connector goin to ur intake
