Re: How much would this be worth

D14? Are you sure it's not D16?

I would think that it would be more like $100.

Re: How much would this be worth

main thing is how many miles are on it, that will change the price. You might be able to get $300 out of it if someone is needing a motor really bad, but most likely in order to get rid of it, you will have to settle for less. Its not really a motor that everyone is looking for.

Re: How much would this be worth

hahaha, no ones gonna pay 300 bucks for that. I sold a complete a6 swap to someone for 400 bucks, and even that was a lot, but it was also everything needed for the swap.

Your long block is worth no more than 100 bucks.

I dont ...well the 300$ proce was given from a junkyar...actualy from 3 junkyards....ant that was a engine that dident have mounts and some wires an hoses were cut

I on the other hand was selling a engine that had all the wires an hoses and mount intact.

any D16 block if you want to buy start from 200$just a block....if you would like to buy the whole engine (no mounts,no radiator,no generator) ...you would end up spending about 1200-1500$ most of the time the wires would be cut.

The guy who i sold it to looked every thing over.....said it he would take it and dident even ask to lower the price .....costs les then a junkyard one

Re: How much would this be worth

dude, where the hell are you from? Cause d series engines go for dirt cheap at junkyards and everywhere else. I see LS motors for for 800 for full swaps. I guess the junkyard just sees your dumbass coming and ups their prices.

Re: How much would this be worth

The yard I work at sells Z6's for $650. Some hoses are cut, but I think it comes with the wire harness, just kinda depends who tears the car down. But like I said before, he could get what he got out of it depending on the buyer, if someone needs it bad enough, they will pay that much for it, but most of people wouldn't give that much for it.

jep....i think that he just needed a engine that works...caz most of the engines in the yard are in bad condition......for a small contry we have more car crashes then the Finis and if im not mistaken then the Germans
