Skyline/Supra

What is better/faster, the world's fastest skyline, or the world's fastest supra?

Re: Skyline/Supra

We'd have to see just what the figures for the world's fastest of each car would be.

For example, JUN has tuned both cars for top speed runs at Bonneville. An R33 GT-R reached 233mph, if I remember correctly. A few years later, JUN returned with a 3.3L stroker Supra that went faster, but I can't remember the exact speed.

This is like asking what is heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of lead...

You need be very specific, and specify all the details. The short answer is: anything is possible with an unlimited budget.

The real question would be which car is more easily tuned and offers the best all around performance and bang for the buck. Living in Japan, it's a no brainer. Skylines are the weapon of choice.

Only saw one Supra at Fuji raceway during track day, and it remained in the parking lot...

Re: Skyline/Supra

depends on where you live and who you talk to, in the USA, skylines are way popular simply because you cant get them unless you import one, and that "feeling" is why many people like the skyline. Most people will probably pick a skyline over a supra
