Re: turbo/super

there is no SC for the ZX2, and Focus kis do not fit (no matter what any shop says, a focus kit and your car will need ford to get them to work together)

focus-power.com makes a 6k turbo kit, but seems to be iffy how there tuning is (4 know cars have had tuning issues)

Gude makes utter shit parts, fitment is terrible and tuning is worse.

A guy called UnlikelyHero makes kits of high quality, but dont look as nice as he makes them in his spare time. You can find him at http://www.geocities.com/rudeawakeni...ports/new.html

Other wise you have to make your own.

Re: turbo/super

Hey, i'm just trying to give him a place he can get answers if he has questions. Neither of us know everything there is to know about the car.

Re: turbo/super

i would say you can try gude but, i dont know, altec is right i bought a head and cam, and we had a hell of a time with it. i actually had to kill another grand and a half not including garage costs to get everyhing to stop fighting each other. but if you are only looking for a minor upgrade, ive heard of electronic superchargers, which are basically just a fan that runns off the battery. a friend of mine put one in his mustang ( it has the 4 cyl. ) and he notices a little more pep, and his gas milage went up 4-5 mpg. other then that we are in the same boat.

Re: turbo/super

they are a waste...they put strain on your motor to run it which in turn also makes the elec SC try to make enough power just to make up for the loss it creates.
