Need help with some song and/or artist recommendations

Alright... just got a new MP3 player and it holds 120 songs... I've got about 36 on it. Hahaha. I've gotta get some other stuff that I like... I'm going to list a bunch of songs/bands that I like, I'll try to list them from favorite to the ones I like, but am tempted to switch to one of the favorite songs

Kazzer - "Pedal to the Metal" (ever since this was posted in the "great speeding songs" type thread I haven't been able to get it out of my head... I love it! )

Lynard Skynyrd - "Black Betty" (no I don't like the Spiderbait version if anyone is wondering.

Tons of Iron Maiden... I have most of their faster songs.... too many of them on my player so I don't need any Iron Maiden recommendations... lol.

Hammerfall - "Let the Hammer Fall" - "Stronger than All" - "Raise the Hammer" and "Eternal Darkness" are all songs I like from them... a lot of the other ones I downloaded I didn't like as much, but if you know any that sound similar to the flow/rythym/beat/whatever the hell(lol) let me know.

Mushroomhead - got a few of their songs... "Crazy" "Sun doesn't Rise" and "Never Let it Go" are some of my favorites from them

Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell" and "Revolution is my Name" are good.

Saliva - "Survival of the Sickest" is a sweet song, but most of their other crap doesn't sit too well with me... if I could get some specific song names to search for that would be great!

I'd like some car-specific songs as well(such as the "Pedal to the Metal" song) because well... this will be a driving mix, well... once I get my license back

Are you sure you're not referring to a band called Ram Jam? They were the band that first made it popular back in 1975. Since then other artists have recorded their versions, but I haven't heard if Lynryd Skynyrd had done so as well.

It's the same song as in this video:

I got it from Limewire supposedly by "Lynard Skynyrd" but I guess that is probably wrong.

That was Ram Jam in the video. Here is a link to the album featured on Amazon.com. Click it and scroll down to "Listen to samples," it is the first song on the list. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...music&n=507846

Re: Need help with some song and/or artist recommendations

Do you like any metallica? Some of there earlier stuff perhaps. You might like "fuel" also by them for a driving song. Do you like ACDC or Guns n Roses? 12 Stones "broken" is pretty fast and really adrenaline rushing kinda song. Ah what the hell, download these songs and tell me what you like and don't like..haha.

1. Avenged Sevenfold- Unholy Confessions.
2. 12 stones- Broken
3. Taproot- Calling; also Poem
4. Trust Comany- Downfall
5. ACDC- well, who hasn't heard them.
6. GnR- refer to above^.
7. Adema- The way you like it
8. Chevelle- The clincher.
9. Crossfade- I love every single song they have, most of them are fast paced also.

I'll stop there. But if you want more recommendations by all means PM me or just ask here.

If you don't like any of that, sorry. If you don't like it can you say why you don't like it, because if its too fast or too slow I have some have music that fits in a slower or faster paced then that.

You should just get a bigger mp3 player, haha, make life so much easier. I have a a 30gb creative zen xtra, holds enough music that I doubt I could ever fill it.

Goodluck dude.

1. Avenged Sevenfold- Unholy Confessions. I liked it
2. 12 stones- Broken It's alright, tolerable, but I'd prefer no "love" songs
3. Taproot- Calling; also Poem Never really liked Taproot, I dunno what it is lol.
4. Trust Comany- Downfall Me like
5. ACDC- well, who hasn't heard them. I like "Dirty deeds done dirt cheap," most of their other stuff seems too redneck... stuff you'd expect to hear blaring from an Iroc Z Not a 4th gen.
6. GnR- refer to above^. Eh not really.
7. Adema- The way you like it Awesome song I didn't know who sang it before... I've heard it on the radio.
8. Chevelle- The clincher.
9. Crossfade- (any) I got "cold" and "dead skin" but didn't really like them...

White/Rob Zombie - Black Sunshine, Demon Speed, Creature Of The Wheel Could only find "Demon Speeding" since I already had it, forgot to put it on my initial list... it's a good one
Ministry - Jesus Built My Hot Rod Cool, but not my cup of tea(WTF is he saying???)
Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive (far away), Passenger "Be quiet and drive" is cool, "Passenger" is a bit too slow.

Thanks guys!
