sluggish gt revisited (with other questions)

94 Quad 4 h.o. dohc. The car still feels real sluggish. Did plugs a couple months ago, put a newer cone intake on it, i guess it doesn't add much horse but makes for better airflow and better mpg. I haven't been able to find literally any engine mods for this engine, at least online. I want to look into a turbo or supercharger. Whichever will add more power or costs less. I was thinking of getting the exhaust system modded a little since there is little airflow at all out the right muffler. But for now, maybe it's just me, but the car feels like it's a lot slower than it should be. Warmed up it feels like it performs pretty well. But cold forget it, it feels like there is no torque to it at all, like it's decent up to 3000 rpm and from then there is no boost in power. It just seems the car performs a lot better after it's been running after at least 10 minutes, but keep in mind i live in the northest so it's pretty cold out.

I do realize that i might post so dumb or obvious questions on here, but i am learning much more from the help and advice you all give me, and i really do appreciate that.

Re: sluggish gt revisited (with other questions)

since its a 5 spd may be time for a new clutch/pressure plate.
Cold weather thickens Hydralic fluid so when you let off the clutch its slowly released till everythings warmed up.
Check the hydralic fluid on that. Heres a link with some great info that may intrest you.

I checked those sites but most of the parts were for the v6's. I did see a supercharger but it was for the 2.4 engine. Could I use 2.4 parts even though mine is the 2.3? The engines are very similar.
