If you haven't figured it out yet, I like Harleys. But I'm not a tool, I can think for myself and appreciate innovation where I see it.

This numbnut exposed himself to the most well-written and accurate flaming in the history of the internet, I think, and rightfully so.

While I found about half his anti-Harley articles to be distasteful due to their excessive stereotyping of Americans of southern origion, his use of satire is excellent.
I agree about his analysis of Harley engineering, business and marketing tactics. His comments about the poor engineering and performance of Harleys is obvious to most of us; for him to say so is simply an example of 'the emperor has no clothes' fable.

Still, he gives little credit to the brilliant strategy that the Harley Davidson company has used to survive over the last twenty-five years, in a very competitive environment.

In fact, the strategy has almost been too good. The slavish devotion it has inspiered in some xtreme, almost fanatical devotion and bias of some Harley fans has made motorcycling quite unpleasant for me at times.
