How to get 400 crank HP to a WS6

Ok i have a catback, intake, lid, programer, ported TB (comming soon) on my 98 trans am. About how much power would i have. Am i far away from the 400 mark. And any guesses on wut i would run. Im a decent driver. Headers are my last resort. I luv the loudmouth to much and dont wanna play with the sound. Unless some1 hasa loudmouth setup and got headers and still kinda had the same sound, please tell me.

You are probably right around 370-375 crank HP.

Want more?? LS6 intake, underdrive pulley.

If you have the loudmouth then you must be ok with loud. That said, there are a few alternatives. First, you could get LT headers with a catted Y-pipe. Using some form of cats will help keep the rasp down. I personally like QTP's, Pacesetters (texas speed makes a catted Y) or Dynatech supermaxx. Then you can replace the resinator with a Borla XR-1. I think this sound will meet with your approval. But it will be louder then what you have now. If it's too loud for your liking then SLP dual/dual or Hooker catback should get you a tamer sound coupled with the LT's and catted Y.

I strongly suggest you get LT's. You're leaving an easy 20-25 rwhp on the table if you don't. And if you ever get a bigger cam it will not give you all the HP it has if the car still has factory exhaust manifolds.

Are you an A4 or M6?

If you're an A4 then you would absolutely love a 3500 stall torque converter, trans cooler and shift kit.

If you're an M6 then you would absolutely love some 4.10 gears and a shortstick or 5.0 shifter.

They may not show you gains on a dyno but they sure as heck will get you down a track or country road faster
