Driver Side Power Window stopped working
Today, I tried using my driver side window and to my surprise, it wasn't working. The other three windows worked perfectly fine using the driver controls and also using each individual control for the front passenger and back windows. Is this a motor problem? I was thinking it was something else since the other power windows work from the driver control panel. Please help!

Re: Driver Side Power Window stopped working
It is possible that the motor has gone out but I would pull the switch off the door and change the wiring around to see if the motor works. It is possible that the switch itself has gone bad. If nothing changes then the motor may have gone bad. Check ebay or a wrecking yard for a new one. Much cheaper than going to the dealer if you have to replace the motor.

Now that you say that, when i tried to use the driver side window switch, it makes a weird noise that the other switches don't. Thanks for your help! |
