|
No spark when starting (?)electronic ignition~ (1994)
Hi, I just got a 1994 park ave buick. It's been sitting in my drive way for 17months and I've decided to work on it now. For some reason, there is no spark when I try to start the car even with new spark plugs. Any ideas why, somethign wrong with the EI?

And don't forget to check the ignition module (under the 3 coil packs) as well as the PCM. Not trying to poke around in your business, but how did you, "just get a 1994 PA that has been sitting your driveway for 17 months"?

Hotz28's comment about sitting for 17 months brings up an interesting question, are you sure you didn't get any hungry/homeless critters in there while the car was slumbering?

 Now that's a good story. Mine was similar, except involving squerels. Serpentine took care of him tho, no d-con neccessary (but a long afternnon with a power washer was)
