Can't seem to keep the rear wheels on the ground when throwing gears (manual tranny). In the old days, a pair of Air Bags would do the trick...anyone have some ideas how to get the rear end to stick?

Re: 2005 Rear Suspension/Wheel Hop
That was an issue with the 04's but was corrected in MY05. Check to make sure your dealer removed the shipping spacers in the springs and check your tire pressure.

Re: 2005 Rear Suspension/Wheel Hop
The problem is definitely not fixed on the 05's. I get it especially bad when the road is wet. Start solving the problem by stiffening up the rear suspension with shocks and springs. Yellow adjustable Koni's are a good start and Pedder's and King make original ride height springs that are about 50% stiffer. Go to LS1GTO.com for tons of info on this.
