Re: 92 yj is pulling!
Definitely a suspension issue. I'd start with the rear axle on the left side. Something is moving around when you accelerate/decelerate.

Have someone sit inside and hold the brakes on hard while loading the driveline in drive or reverse while watching the rear suspension and axle for movement. Look under the hood and trans for the mounts. I'd swap the tires left to right to see if its a bad tire. the pull will change if so.

Im going with bump steer. Youve got a lifted Jeep. I cant say if youve addressed the track bar or pitman arm with the lift or not but what can happen if you dont is that the track bar and drag link wont be parallel to each other. When you accelerate, the front of the jeep comes up which will actually pull the axle to the drivers side causing it to pull left. The opposite happens when you brake or slow. Is the lift new? Did the pulling first appear after the lift? |
