" i pulled a plug and it was totally fried"
The plug was 'fried'? What do you mean? Were plug wires 'fried' too? Have you ever changed the plugs and plug wires?

Sonds like you're all set now
I was thinking that maybe it was just time for replacement. Who knows, may be the originals? I wonder if #1 fouled out and they had to replace it. Sounds way over do. You got a good deal on the car. Will last a long time.
