rear defrost?

when i turn on rear defrost in 92 se and leave it on for 5+ minn.. it makes it so power locks and power seats dont work as well as defrost for about 15 min, then it all works just fine? any ideas??

There is a circuit breaker which controls those accesories. The breaker could be getting old, causing it to trip early. It will be a 30 amp, mounted in the fuse box. It will look similar to a fuse, but it will have a metal cap on top of it..

i took one from a dash i have, and it popped quicker than 1 in there.. they also get extremely hot.. why what next? check grounds? were would they be any i deas? thanx

You may want to inspect/replace the defrost switch. I've had cases where the switch overheated and nearly caught fire.
