98 K3500 Brake Upgrades

Is there a good brake system upgrade for a 1998 GMC K3500 Crew Cab? Summit didn't list one for this truck. I've heard of someone putting Ford F350 brakes (3-piston caliper) on a GMC. Anyone else heard that before?

I carry a large truck camper and would like better brake margin in terms of pedal and front brake temp. A rear drum-to-disc conversion may also help. Or maybe a different power brake master cylider?

Just looking for any positive experience you may have had, and any product/distributor recommendations.
