Not to be mean, but in short, sell the car and get a gsx/tsi awd. You have the non turbo front wheel drive model, which isn't gonna hit 12s without a ton of money dumped into it.

You could do a search of all the faq's on this forum and alot of questions will be answered. Welcome to AF!

You will never hit 12's on a N/T eclipse. I say that in about a 99.999% confidence.

With basic mods, you could probably hit about 200 hp without turboing it, which might get you low 15's and probably a 7 sec. 0-60.

Look elsewhere if you want real power, like a GST/GSX/TSI.

Re: eclipse

It is possible to hit 12s in a n/t eclipse, and yes it will take a lot of money. If you are looking to make a fast car with not a lot of money put into it, then it would be better to get a car that is already turbo. But basicly you will have to build the whole motor, and add a big turbo and all the supporting mods.

Re: eclipse

Please use proper grammar. Yes, it's a web forum, but even if you had a decent question, I wouldn't try to answer it if I have to read it 10 times to figure out what you're asking.

Once you add the big turbo you are no longer N/T.

As for his question, don't bother buying it if you are planning on swapping motors. You will be wasting your money. If you have so much money, buy an Evo.

I understood that, but you talked about adding a huge turbo. Thus making it no longer a N/T. Yes, if you turbo it and build up the engine (wasting a lot of money you could have used on a car more ready to be built up), you could essentially have a fast and powerful car.
