Quick Question About Sanding

What grit should i use to strip the old paint and primer down to metal for a new paintjob? Wet or Dry? Thnx

Do yourself a favor and either bead/sand blast it or use a chemical stripper. If you're talking about stripping a whole car sanding is the hardest way.
