R34 light conversion into a 92 JDM Civic

I live in Japan and recently bought a 92 civic (B16a) for $1000. I've been going through the site and have figured out what turbo set up I'm going with, but I don't know anything about HID or wiring. Anyways, I have been reading the site about HID's and stuff like that, but am too novice about wiring and HID's to comprehend. I need laman's/idiot's terminology. I want to put he R34 lights in my car, but they are HID and my civic is not. Should I be buying an HID kit for my car and changing the ends so that it fits into the R34 headlight housing? Or should I be buying an R34 HID kit so that it already fits into the headlight housing, and try to wire the kit into my civic? How do I do this?

I tried posting in the lighting section and the how to, this was my last resort. I did get a hold of someone in Japan that has done a conversion. He said that the best way is to get the R34 lights with the R34 HID kit. Then have the other end wired into the Civic. I guess I will try that.

Re: R34 light conversion into a 92 JDM Civic

I am not a body/lighting expert, but I don't think you can put R34 lights into a civic. The whole housing is different. Why don't you just buy a HID kit for a Civic instead of trying to modify R34 lights? Aren't the R34 lights super expensive anyways. Just buy a set of angel eyes from ebay for $100 or so. Those come with projector lamps.
