Console CD Player
I have a 98 and when trying to play CDs, they skip and get scratched...ruined. has this happened to anyone else, does anyone know if you can buy a refurbushed one...way to expensive for a new factory unit. How about someone repairing this one.

Re: Console CD Player
check ebay. There is someone refurbishing them for a set price. I bought a used changer for $60, new cable for $60 and magazine for $40, all shipped. Did the install myself (about 10 minutes). There are also direct replacements that are not as expensive as the Ford ones. Good luck.

Re: Console CD Player
I installed an aftermarket stereo in my son's '97 EB so the 6-CD changer is for sale. It has the 3/4" square plug. Make an offer.

Re: Console CD Player
I have a Ford in-dash 6 disc cd stereo system for a Expedition. I own a car audio shop, and we ordered on for someone but he never paid for it. Yours for $200.00 if you want it.
