ipod video

so i just got one as part of my xmas bonus. does anyone know any tricks for putting non itunes movies on it??

non itune movies? you need to reformat the movies in either mp4 or h26 format, i just got a new 60gig video for Xmas, go to

Videora.com and download their free version to convertformats.

also get winamp and the ipod plugin, i have a nano, and use that instead of gay itunes

itunes works fine for me. I use Nero to conver the movies. It works flawlessly.

I wish the iPod video had a rest button on the or something. My friend got one for christmas, and the screen froze, and wouldnt turn off or exit that state. We had to wait for the battery to die before it reset and cleared back to normal.

You can manually reset the ipod. Hold down the MENU and the middle circle button until the apple logo appears. This should reset/reboot it.

my nano gets that same problem, but i can never replicate it.

cant you just hold the menu button and the button in the middle for 10 seconds and it will reset?? thats what i learned
