Please Read...Happy Holidays

To all Grand Am Forum Members,

I would like to take this oppertunity to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday Season. I would also like to say thanks to every one that has posted either a thread or reply, I have been a member for almost a year and through reading all of the post that I have I can say that I have learned an awfull lot about the Grand Am. I have a 96 Grand Am GT with the 2.4L and 5 speed trans. and through out this year I have had some issues that have stumped me but the guys on the forum have been a great help.

I would also like to send out a special Thanks and public congrads to Ridenour, he has been a great source of helpful information this year and has saved me a few bucks by his input to certian problems I had been having with the GT. I think that the power to be have made a great choice in making him a moderator for the forum.

There are many of you guys that have helped out a lot also, I can't go through and mention all of you but you are all regulars here on the forum and to you I also say thanks for the help.

So to all...Happy Holidays, be safe through this time of year when you go out and about seeing family and friends.

I am looking forward to working with everyone next year, I really don't think that the Grand Am is going to disappear any time soon so we should have enough issues come up that we will be able to help to get some others out of a jam.

Happy Holidays.
Hoags

Oh geez Dan! now you've gone and done it.... I can already tell this is gonna be a tear-jerkin warm & fuzzy thread

Thanks a lot for the congratulations man. I deffinately could never have done it without guys like yourself, Knifeblade, XI, Lynn, John, and a whole boatload of other "regulars" (you all know who you are). You've all taught me so much and I've gained so much valuable knowledge from everyone here that will really benefit me in my automotive career.

Thanks for all the well-wishing Dan - it is heart felt. You and lots of other guys have contributed a lot here, and you should all be proud of yourselves. You've helped out countless hundreds of posters from across the country, and many who never even needed to post, simply because they read your input and were able to solve their problems soley from that. Good work everyone. I'll have a few cold ones this New Years' in y'alls honor!

On a side note, my forum activity may increase the next week, but then possibly decrease for a few weeks while I re-enter the "college" realm and adjust. After that though I should be back in the groove. And I will be sure to never falter from my moderator duties. Even if I'm not on the forum a day or two, if you guys see or have anything that needs my attention, email it to me or PM me and I'll get a notification in my email, and I will do my best to attend to the matter at hand.

God bless, and Merry Christmas to all. And like Dan said, be safe. Drive slow. It's just not worth it to do otherwise.

Lee

!

Thanks for the 'Holiday Greetings' Guys! I'll probley be hit and miss over the next 2-3 weeks too. Between Working, and my yard monkeys out for winter break, and the 'Get togethers', that will eat away my free time here at AF.

I too hav picked up a thing or two here at AF. Pontiacs arent my trouble area thats for sure, its those imports that'll get ya. hahaha!
My self, I should try and venture into some of the other areas of AF, from time to time. And spread the knowledge.

I remmeber those days, when I didnt know shit! and had no money to fix it, or to take it to get fixed. Boy would a place lik this helped out big time.
Trouble shooting with out ever seeing and hearing the actual car/truck is not an easy thing to do. But, it's always a process of illimination.....

Hav fun over the holidays everyone, and remember safty first!
