Tachometer Wiring ( Tach wire )

Hi everyone!

I just bought an aftermarket tachometer mostly for looks for my 1991 mr2. The question I have is where do I hook up the tachometer wire to? Where can i find the tachometer wire? In the engine compartment? Any help would be great!!!!
