Transmission went out 60000 miles and rough idle
My transmission went out at 60000 miles. I do not haul or tow anything. Does this model year have transmission issues? Also I have never been able to stop the rough idle, any suggestions?

Re: Transmission went out 60000 miles and rough idle
A new transmission at 60000 miles is a bit unusual for any vehicle--these models seem to be good transmissions but I guess there's always the exception.
For the rough idle, does the vehicle act like it wants to stall when you are stopped while in gear (either drive or reverse)? If so, you might try a throttle body cleaning from the dealership. It's not that expensive and seems to be a pretty common thing. |
