Question converting 1989 Ford F-150 2x4 to 4x4

I already have a 1989 F-150 2x4 ,5.0L ,5 spd the body and truck are in good shape. I have a uncle that has a 1989 F-150 4x4 ,5 spd which he's wanting to get rid of it as it's body and engine not in very good shape. Wanting any advice if it's possible to swap out the front suspension and hubs to my truck? I know the transfer case and drive shaft would swap out perfect. if anyone has done it or attempted it or know if it would be possible i'd appreciate the feedback . It's not going to cost much if any to get his truck and i know that his 4x4 works and all parts seem good. And NO! just Buying different 4x4 would not be an option.

This will work, I believe everything should be drilled out on the frame to mount the fron TTB axle! just make sure to match your gears.
If its not a bolt on application, you could just switch your engine, body and bed onto his frame? Its not that hard......you are already tacklin a pretty large project either way , but it is way worth it. I would almost say to do a solid axle, you can get one for $70 from the junkyard, depending where you are...then youre tires dont wear funny, I dont know but I did a solid Dana60 up front of my 89 F-250.
